They wanted their acquisition to be key to its customers’ success, so critical that reliability and performance were the most important criteria for their own success. Of the 1500 businesses they searched, Pure Flow stood out for the quality of its people and the reputation among its customers. The company has provided high-purity water systems and service since 1982. Tyler and Michael saw in it a sound base of cash flow plus an opportunity to expand. Peterborough serves as hub for their network of service operations throughout New England.
“There are plenty of skilled technical people here. We already have potential service technicians lined up for expansion,” says Hogan. He looks for trainees who pride themselves on strictly following safety protocol and double-checking quality controls, especially for the burgeoning healthcare market. “Dialysis purification equipment is not complex,” Hogan states, “but service is frequent and quality of service can be a matter of life or death.”
Hogan has settled in Peterborough with his wife Kyra, who is a teacher. They plan to raise a family here.
“We were looking for a long-term business that would support us and our families for many years,” says Hogan. Pure Flow promises a stable, prospering opportunity.
