The Peterborough Welcome Team is a volunteer group that welcomes new residents with a friendly visit and information about local organizations, businesses and services, samples and promotional items, all delivered in a beautiful, locally-made Peterboro Basket. The PWT also hosts Meet and Greet events to give new residents a chance to meet their Peterborough neighbors.
The PWT is an official committee of the Peterborough Economic Development Authority.

Help Welcome New Residents and Gain New Customers
Participate in any or all of the following ways:
Be included in EVERY basket by providing 50 “special” items that are branded and valuable to the recipient (coupons, giveaways, samples). Brochures and business cards alone do not qualify.
Sponsor an upcoming Meet and Greet event: In exchange for providing refreshments, the event sponsor has an opportunity to showcase their business at the event, including signage and branding on related collateral material and promotion.
Donate a door prize for the Meet and Greet event: Businesses who provide a prize for the Meet and Greet event will be recognized at the event.
Bring materials for the Information Table at the Meet and Greet event.
Provide brochures and information that become part of the PWT library to be distributed as our volunteers bring targeted information to new residents.
